Summertime and the Grillin' is Fine


Take advantage of the grilling area, just one of the amenities available to members of our apartment community here at The Southerly, to create some quick, tasty summertime meals including steak (check out this tutorial). We’ve got some recipes that are sure to hit the spot. Decide what to make and head out to your favorite Towson, MD grocery store soon to collect the ingredients. Yum!
This recipe comes from The Mediterranean Dish. It’s a juicy and delicious meal you’ll love. You’ll need garlic powder, nutmeg, green cardamom, allspice, paprika, salt and pepper, beef tenderloin, red onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. You’ll also need to make the marinade which adds the perfect flavor to the tenderloin. For the marinade, you’ll need red onion, lemon, olive oil, and dry red wine.
Grilled Chili Cilantro Lime Chicken
This recipe comes from Gimme Delicious Food. It’s a great twist on traditional grilled chicken. For the marinade, you’ll need lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, chopped cilantro, garlic cloves, salt, brown sugar (or honey), red chili pepper flakes, and ground cumin. Marinate the chicken breasts and grill to your liking.

Olive Oil Parmesan Grilled Corn
This recipe comes from Fit Foodie Finds. It’s simple, delicious, and sure to please your guests. You’ll need ears of corn, grated parmesan cheese, olive oil, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the marinade on the corn, wrap in aluminum foil, and grill until cooked through.
Another great recipe from Allrecipes, Grilled Pineapple is sure to become a summer staple. Part of the reason it’s so good? The secret ingredient: a dash of your favorite hot sauce.
