Apps to Help You Decorate Your Apartment

The Southerly Blog, Towson, MD — We’re providing a roundup of apps which are useful when you’re taking on the task of decorating your apartment.

This week we’re providing a list of useful apps to help you out when you’re trying to change up the look of your apartment at The Southerly in Towson, MD. There are so many apps out there it’s easy to get sidetracked, so we have narrowed our focus to apps for color coordination and inspiration. Check them out!

For Color Coordination:

Create and save color palettes for your next decorating project with the Color911 app. Color specialist Amy Wax has generated more than 80 downloadable color themes, but users can also create a palette based on a photograph taken on their device as well as organize favorite colors into folders, then share with friends or designers by email.

Color Capture

This app allows you to snap a picture of any color inspiration you see. It will match you with the most exact paint available to purchase from its collection of 3,300 color options.

Morpholio Board

An accessible and straightforward way to create mood or inspiration boards for your home. Create color themes, and pull different images so that you can impeccably plan your space.

We don’t really need to explain this one, right? Create and share boards full of fun ideas for your decorating and designing.

The Design*Sponge website has created a mobile app where you can easily access directions to DIYs and makeovers, as well as look for decor inspiration.

Zillow Digs

Think of this app as a home-design-only version of Pinterest. Users can personalize the decor and renovation inspiration that appears upon opening the app by indicating their style preferences. They can then browse images organized by space, color, style, and project estimate, and then save their favorites to in-app vision boards. The app also features a cost estimator on all kitchen and bathroom photos.
